Daniela Varone

Daniela hails from a farm in Hyden, smack-bang in the middle of the plains of Western Australia’s Wheatbelt. She moved to Perth as a teenager to see what a hill looks like and to complete her schooling and attend university.

After completing her Fine Arts degree at Curtin University she decided that she liked food too much to become a starving artist so she went on to complete a second BA in Design. From there Daniela freelanced for a year before being snapped up by the Brand Agency in 2004.

Daniela was at the Brand Agency for a six and a half year stint, during which time she worked for clients as diverse as RAC, Peet Limited, HBOS Australia and St John Ambulance.

In 2010 she joined the Block team as Senior Creative, and has been enjoying working with a more close-knit team on a wide range of projects for clients such as Challenger Institute of Technology, Dalton, Fremantle Dockers Football Club and The Boulevard Hotel.

Daniela knows more about wheat-trading and rabbit-shooting than anyone on the Block team. She also has more cousins than anyone you’ll ever meet.
