As the local independent brewing industry was being hit early and hard by the COVID-19-related closure of venues, the team at Otherside Brewing Co set themselves the challenge to deliver a craft beer as cost-effectively – and as quickly – as possible. That was on a Friday.

\ Outcome

By Monday, Block had bought the idea to life by naming, branding and designing ‘PLAN: C’ SIMPLE ALE. By Wednesday, the brew team had a recipe and beer in the tank. PLAN: C received huge support from local retailers, many of whom have made significant pre-orders to ensure the brewery is able to make it happen. So far three runs of PLAN: C have soldout, each before they had been packaged. The independent retail chain Liquor Barons picked up the product across its entire network.
